Pharmacology Course in Riverside

The pharmacology course at CEU Connect builds working medication knowledge for nurses, healthcare staff, and caregivers in Riverside County. It runs at our Magnolia Ave training center, taught by instructors who connect drug classes and side effects to the patients you actually see. It is taught with scope of practice in mind: nurses administer and manage medications, while aides and caregivers observe, report, and support.
For Registered Nurses, this course provides continuing education hours from a BRN-approved provider, CEP #18157. If you hold a different credential, your certifying board can confirm what applies, so the time you spend getting sharper about medications can work toward your renewal as well.

What the course covers
The course moves through the medication landscape you meet in real care settings: major drug classes and what they do, common side effects and the ones that should worry you, how drugs interact, and why timing, food, and dosage instructions exist. You learn to think in systems rather than memorizing isolated facts, so the knowledge holds up when an unfamiliar drug name comes up on the job.
Just as important, you learn what to watch for. Changes in behavior, appetite, balance, or alertness often speak before a patient does. Caregivers who understand what medications can cause are the early warning system every facility depends on.
Classes are taught live at the Magnolia Ave center. Bring your questions from work; the discussion is usually where the best learning happens.
